Refrigerated Containers
Refrigerated containers are designed to store product that requires temperature control. They operate independently of a blown air refrigerated system and are fitted with their own refrigeration units which require an electrical power supply for operation. Called also as reefers, these containers can hold a constant temperature of +27 degrees C to -28 degrees C and are an economical cool storage solution. All reefers are powered by 15 amp or 30 amp 3 phase power only.

As the floor is “T” section the air can flow beneath stored product. Internally these containers are lined with either stainless steel or GRP. Each container is capable of being set at its own individual carriage temperature.

Tips that will help you to keep your storage in needed condition:
1) Proper air circulation both inside and outside the container. It is important to keep clear the interior floor air space (under the "T" surface) and the ceiling air space (above the red load line) to facilitate proper air flow and cooling through out the container. Moreover, the area outside the container must provide for adequate airflow though the condenser, to insure peak performance.

2) The electrical power supply must be reliable and within the design ranges at the supply panel.

3) The doors are only opened for loading and when closed, fully closed. 

4) Warm product loaded into the container will cause an increased temperature inside the container, possible spoilage of the product and necessitate increased defrosting of the evaporator coil.

5) The controls are meant to be set and left alone, any adjustment of settings or controls by non-qualified personnel could result in a performance failure.
